ASHLEIGH
Hi, I’m Ashleigh – one of the proud Directors of Bowdens Estate Agents, working alongside my husband as we embark on this exciting new chapter together. With over a decade of experience in the childcare sector, a BA Honours degree in Childhood Studies, and a qualification in teaching Forest School, I’ve spent my career building relationships based on trust, care, and communication – values I now bring into the world of property.
Making the leap from childcare to estate agency might seem like a big shift, but for me, it’s the perfect next step. I’m passionate about helping people find homes where they can build memories – just as I’ve built mine with my own family. I’m a proud mum of three wonderful (and very active!) children, and when I’m not with them, you’ll usually find me enjoying a walk outdoors or recharging with a good cup of coffee.
This new venture is about more than property – it’s about people, and I’m excited to bring a fresh, friendly, and family-focused approach to the local housing market.
DANIEL
Hi, I’m Daniel Bowden – director and co-founder of our independent, family-run estate agency, which I run alongside my wife. We set up the business with a shared vision: to create a more personal and trusted approach to buying, selling, and letting homes. Between us, we genuinely care about the people we work with, and we’re proud to offer a hands-on, honest service that puts our clients first.
I’ve been in the property industry for over 10 years and have worked across various roles in sales, lettings, and valuations. I became AssocRICS qualified three years ago, which has given me an even deeper understanding of property standards and professional practice. Whether I’m valuing a home, advising a first-time buyer, or helping a landlord grow their portfolio, I always aim to keep things simple, clear, and professional.
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad and love spending quality time with my family. I’m also a big sports fan – particularly football, Formula 1, and golf – and whenever I get a bit of downtime, you’ll probably find me watching a race, following the weekend’s fixtures, or squeezing in a quick round of golf.
If you’re looking for friendly advice, a fresh approach to estate agency, or just want a chat about the market, I’d love to help.
Shannon
Hi, I’m Shannon – Sales Negotiator at Bowden’s Estate Agents with over 5 years of experience in the property industry. I genuinely enjoy what I do and find it really rewarding helping people find a place they’re proud to call home. I’m known for being friendly, reliable, and honest – qualities I bring to every part of the job (and yes, even the paperwork!).
Outside of work, you’ll often find me at the gym, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying a good meal out. I also recently finished renovating my own home, so I know first-hand the ups and downs that can come with buying and improving a property!
Caroline
Caroline has been part of the property industry for over 25 years, and her knowledge of Cambourne is second to none. Having worked in the area for so long, she’s built incredible relationships with the community and has played a part in countless property journeys – from helping families find their first home, to assisting with their next move, and even moving their children into homes of their own. For some families, she has been their trusted guide through multiple moves, each time delivering the same warmth, honesty, and expertise.
Her wealth of experience and deep-rooted understanding of the local market make her an irreplaceable part of the Bowdens team. She’s not just valued for her professional skills, but also for her kind, caring, and generous nature – qualities that shine through in every interaction she has with clients and colleagues alike. Quite frankly, we’re not sure what we’d do without her.
Outside of work, Caroline’s world revolves around her home life with John (who she takes great delight in gently annoying), and her much-loved animals – from horses and ponies to her loyal dogs. Whether she’s at the stables or out walking the dogs, she’s at her happiest when surrounded by her four-legged friends.
Side note: Caroline is famously camera shy, so instead of a photo, we’ve created a caricature and written this bio for her ourselves – a true reflection of how much she means to us and to the many people she has helped over the years.
